I don't care about these particular misspellings as they're proper names and I just click Learn to make the flag go away but it makes me worry I'll miss a real typo. I've opened the file hundreds of times since April and these misspellings had never been flagged before. But today Preflight found misspellings in content I added in April. If it were just from the previous session that would be one thing but it's often a couple of weeks old and Publisher would have had hours to find the misspelling. Typically when I do this Preflight might tell me there's a misspelling in the content I pasted in within the previous couple of weeks. Most people would paste all the content into Publisher in one go and have no idea that Publisher had missed some misspellings but I'm pasting in the content a page or two at a time as I write it in another app. My long book has thousands of people and place names that are treated as misspellings by Publisher due to the lack of an option to ignore capitalized words. I'm probably seeing this bug more than others due to what I'm working on and how I'm doing it. I've seen this bug many times but I can't reproduce it at will so it's difficult to report. The spell checker simply doesn't find all misspelled words with the real-time checking or if you manually force a spell check.
