Once it became a fight between RS2 and Overwatch the winner became clear and I just abandoned the franchise as a whole because going back to RO2 left me fighting to join the single full-pop server which remained.
Ultimately it was a fight for my play-time (as I work full time) between RO2 and Overwatch. I'll be honest my expectations were pretty much a reskin of RO2 with some minor improvements and it's more of an evolution. This video-game provides examples of: Anachronism Stew: Mostly averted, but there are a number of examples when it comes to the firearms throughout the series. the movement felt more clunky and not as fluid.Īnd overall I much prefer WW2 to Vietnam. Note: Tropes for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, Rising Storm, and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam now go on their games own respective pages. The data overload flows through me and burns out the paths. The sequel to WW2 FPS Red Orchestra's Pacific front spin-off was announced by Tripwire Interactive during E3 2015 and, well, I never remember much of E3 week. In addition I disliked the weapons, I disliked the maps. I'll come clean: I'd forgotten about Rising Storm 2: Vietnam official site. It is a total conversion mod for both Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad and Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm. There was no similar roles in RS2 with as much power and influence over the fight. In Country: Vietnam is a brand-new, multiplayer first person TACTICAL SHOOTER being developed for the PC. I loved playing as an experienced TL or SL1.

The multiplayer part of the game now includes Rising Storm (pacific theater) content which you can access and play for free (as a rifleman only. I don't think that pretty much everyone spawning on SL1 was great, but they took it too far the other way. If you have purchased Red Orchestra 2 near launch, it has now been split into two separate applications in your Steam Library - Rising Storm/Red Orchestra Multiplayer and Red Orchestra 2 Single Player.
RS2 changed so much, namely the squad mechanics.
